The Taipei Baboons have been through some trials and tribulations at the end of 2008.  But through those trials we have made true and real friendships that bond us to all teams playing.  Taking part in the Fat Boys 10’s in Angeles last year and playing the finals of the Plate a player and a dear friend was badly hurt on field.  What resulted was the cohesion of Asian Rugby with one goal in mind; to help our fallen comrade.  The Taipei Baboons are truly indebted to the likes of the Pot Belly Pigs and the Manila Nomads and their truly magnanimous and unselfish giving of time and support to our player while he was on the mend in Manila.  Through this support we are happy to welcome Peter Chworwsky back to the pitch.

As with all setbacks that the Baboons encounter we pick ourselves up dust ourselves off and fling some poo.  So we are bringing a touring group that will put us back on the map, perhaps not on the field, but certainly in most social circles. We are bringing old and new back to Manila, once again enjoying the presence of Peter “Uncle Dirty” Bowden along with a few new guys who will be indoctrinated at the appropriate time and place.  The Taipei Baboons are proud to be back at the Manila 10’s and invite everyone to come share a beer with us.
