Crowd favourites and two time Cup Champions Cape the Black Watch were out maneuvered by a more disciplined Wearers outfit. Unfortunately the lose style of Fijian attacking rugby was stopped dead in its tracks by a composed and focused Wavewearers.
The intensity of the battle was reflected in the heated exchanges between players and the ill discipline cost the Watch the match as they played for a period with 9 with one of their players yellow carded and then the same player later red carded. This blew any chance they had of winning the game.
So the Wavewearers face the daunting task of playing against the CS Larrikins in the Cup Championship.
