The byword for games today has been 'local derby' and in this game we had another, but this time with 2 Taipei teams facing off against each other in the last Plate Quarter-Final. The all Taipei local Giants vs and almost all expat Baboons.
The difference proved to be the silky smooth passing and support of the Giants players, who were able to put the ball through the the hands of their whole teams back and forth across the field stretching the Baboons defense. They were able to snuff out any baboons inroads effectively and dominated possession and territory for an easy win.
The Giants will now face the Alabang Eagles in the 2nd Plate Semi-Final
