The Manila Hapons suffered the cruelest faith with losing after the hooter in their Semi-Final against the Tokyo Gaijin, in the tightest game of a series of very tight gsames.
The game started with the traditional Samurai Haka by the Gaijin, too the line of smiling All-Japanese Hapons.
But despite the significant psychological advantage from their Haka, the Hapons dominated the first half. They looked to be cruising into a Semi-Final berth against the Arabian Piggies.
However, once again the 2nd half saw a more resurgent Gaijin gain the advantage in the arm wrestle. But it went all the way to the wire, with the Gaijin scoring on the hooter drawing the scores at 10 all. The difference being the conversion drop kick by the Gaijin that gave them the 2 points to win and deflate the Hapons sideline.
